A Study

Karma of Untruthfulness vol 2 was chosen in order to better understand the nature of untruth.  It would seem Steiner’s words were ignored. I believe it is our responsibility to give his words new life through a  journey into this pivotal work.    All are welcome each Tuesday, 7:30pm at the home of Dennis and Caron Scanlan.  Contact: caronscanlan12@gmail.com, 720 353 6329

NEW STUDY

Karma of Untruthfulness Volume Two

Dear friends,

Next Tuesday, July 9th at 7:30 we will begin hosting a study at our home on Volume Two of Karma of Untruthfulness by Rudolf Steiner (GA 174) in an effort to better understand the nature of untruth so prevalent in our times. Steiner’s words were urgent one hundred years ago and clearly we did not take much notice of them.

There are three preliminary lectures* as well as the two introductions that will be a critical prelude to our work with Karma of Untruthfulness Vol.2 and will be studied one after the other. There are two identical printings.  One is from 1993 and the other 2005 available from Steinerbooks.  The Forward or Introduction in each printing is entirely different and in view of the topic each needs to be read as the 1993 introduction is a clear example of the topic.

The link is to the first of three lectures, 11, 12 and 13 from Riddle of Humanity (GA170) August 26,27 and 28, 1916.  They were also printed separately in a little booklet called Memory & Habit, the Sense for Truth in case you have either otherwise you can print out from the archive for a small donation.  Here is the link:
